Nichido is one of my most favorite local makeup brands for years. Just early this year, I was on the hunt for an affordable blusher perfect for daily use when I came across this blush powder from Nichido
Product: Nichido Blush Powder in Tomato
Where to Buy: Nichido counters nationwide
I got the shade Tomato, tagged at a very affordable price of P88.00. This is the perfect shade I was looking for so there was no hesitation at all. Very ideal for my warm morena skin.
To further explain, it is a warm peach shade perfect for those medium skin toned. I really like that it has no scent, the scent of some makeups sometimes gets too much in my nostril which results to constant irritation and makes me sneeze so bad.
I would like to purchase other shades but I don’t think the other shades available that day looks good on my cheeks. Anyways, I don’t think I will be able to hit the pan anytime soon of this single powder blush I got.
Affordable, perfect for those in a budget.
There are enough shades available
Doesn’t irritate my skin
Ingredients are written at the bottom
The size easily fits small purse
Slight powdery that makes a lil messy when applying
Not long-wearing which is not surprising since it is a bit powdery.
I find myself always reaching for this blush powder whenever I go out and run some errands. It looks natural on my cheeks as well, which is great. It has no mirror which is not a big deal actually since I don’t really see myself using if it has any. I prefer bigger mirror which can cover my whole face. The only issue I have with the packaging is the lid. I like that its transparent and you can easily see the shade but I hope its like a compact powder type you can easily open. I find the turning of lids to open is too time consuming. I hope it has a small blush brush with it so when you are outside, it makes a lot easier applying it.
For application, I use my e.l.f Stipple Brush
or any blush brush. It glides on smoothly. Although this blush powder is slight powdery it is still blendable. It gives that nice smooth finish which I am looking for in a blush powder.
I have an oily combination skin, and during this hot weather, this blush powder fades after two hours. I am not sure though how long this powder blush can stay on skin during cold weather.
I guess, the quality gives justice to the price for this blush powder from Nichido.
